The Board of County Commissioners oversees the County
by serving as the administrative and policy-making body. They:

  • Approve the budget, hire staff, oversee land-use planning and development in un-incorporated Arapahoe County;
  • Administer county services, such as road and bridge maintenance, transportation improvements, snow and ice removal, human services and animal control


Nancy is committed to Arapahoe County where she grew up and raised her family, and she wants to help Arapahoe County continue to promote the health and safety of families, encourage environmental and economic sustainability, and promote small business.

Nancy’s goals and objectives stem from her roles of teacher, small business owner, mother, and grandmother. Her commitment to the community and her experiences give her a unique perspective to balance the issues of the economy, environment, small business, and human services.

  • Social Services:
    • Child welfare is a high priority
    • Monitor State Level Programs
    • Ensure adequate budget is maintained to provide appropriate services
  • Promote Small Business:
    • Buy local, buy green
    • Invest in innovation
  • Job Creation:
    • Provide training

    • Preserve and enhance
    • Avid supporter of natural environment

    • Wise use of taxpayer funds
