Board of County Commissioners  oversees Arapahoe County by serving as the administrative and policy-making body. The Board approves the budget, hires staff, oversees land-use planning and development in unincor­porated Arapahoe County; and administers county services, such as road and bridge maintenance, transportation improvements, snow and ice removal, human services and animal control.

Registering to vote?

In Arapahoe County there are many Voter Registration Agencies where you can register or obtain a Voter Registration Application form in English or in Spanish. If you need more information regarding the closest agency, or to obtain a form by mail, contact (303) 795-4511 Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. You may also register to vote anytime you are applying for or renewing:
  • A Colorado Driver License
  • Benefits at State public assistance agencies
  • Services at agencies that provide services to disabled persons
  • Armed Forces Recruiting Offices
You must be 18 years or older (you may pre-register if you are 17 yrs. and 9 mos.); you must be a United States citizen; you must be a permanent resident of Colorado 30 days prior to an election.
